I went when it was stock car racing night. I have never been to amnything like this before and must admit i really enjoyed myself.
The best bit was the bangor racing as they didn’t care about anything and most of them had to be towed off!!
The fireworks at the end of the night were fantastic.

Having taken by son and 3 of his mates along to the Stock Car racing on the 25th March as an 8th birthday treat I can honestly say that the thrills and spills certainly kept them all engaged and created a real buzz amongst the boys. This certainly counts as one of my son’s best birthday events and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different.

My husband and I took our 3 boys (15, 11 and 10 at the time) 3 years ago while on holiday in Yarmouth. It was absolutely fab. We’d never done anything like this before and it was brilliant. Cars aren’t my thing but as the night went on I was getting right into it. Even embarrassing the boys at some points during the banger races. We then went the following year with just the younger 2. Great again. I am now planning on a surprise visit next week for my hubby’s birthday. More for me than him though I think. I told the boys (now 14 and 13) and they are soooooooooo excited. And trust me, at their age it takes a lot to get them excited these days. If you get the chance, DEFINITELY go. You won’t be disappointed.

I have been lucky enough to go Stockcar Racing all over the UK and I must say that Yarmouth Stadium is probably the most comfortable and luxurious stadium I’ve seen. Enjoy the racing under cover (if needed) and have a bite to eat along with a drink in the most pleasant surroundings. Well done to all the folk at the stadium. If you haven’t seen racing at Yarmouth give it a try, I’m sure that you won’t be disappointed.

I have been to a lot of motorsport events from Goodwood, Le Mans and various grand prix over the years, enjoying all aspects that they offer. However, a night out at Yarmouth Stadium will give you some amazingly close and exciting racing, We enjoyed the Classic Hot Rods that were in fantastic condition and of-course the Bangers, (Which weren’t in fantastic condition at the end). Another aspect of Motorsport that is sometimes doesn’t get the respect it deserves, thanks.
